The Fees and Taxes database was brought into Access to create the query for all sites. The query was exported to an excel spreadsheet and subsequently converted to a comma separated values (csv) file. The data was converted to a feature class using Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) ArcGIS Pro 2.9.5. Some sites are marked as confidential and those are not included in this dataset but a copy with confidential sites exists for internal MoDNR use only. Various methods were used to create locational data as described in the "METHOD_OF_COLLECTION" field. This data is under review for Quality Assurance and Quality Control to verify that hazardous generator points have a high degree of locational accuracy. Some points may have discrepancy concerning the municipality or county they are located in or the points may not be accurately placed due to data entry or data collection error. The points are being evaluated by georeferencing existing points to addresses are they are recorded or by updating coordinates as field staff conduct inspections. Confidential sites are not included in this data set. A dataset is available with this confidential information.
